In 1998, his pain management work with the City of St. Paul, MN was instrumental in saving $1,000,000.00 in worker’s compensation costs.
Also, he has extensive experience and has been featured for weight loss, smoking cessation, hypnosis, stress, insomnia, risk taking, self-confidence, difficult, "incurable" conditions (Cancer, Lyme Disease, etc.) and more... “Over the phone,” Dr. Petras has been able to eliminate pain from cancer surgery and a variety of “incurable,” chronic and acute conditions.
He served as a team doctor for World-Cup Speedskating, World-Cup Speedskating World Championships, USA Soccer Cup, LPGA Soleheim Cup, Mid-Continent Conference Track & Field Championships and Peace Race Marathon. He was on the Arizona Governor’s Obesity Commission and presented at the first Pre-Super Bowl Scientific Congress. Dr. Petras has been listed as a sport resource for USATF and USA Speedskating and former chair of USATF/MN Sports Medicine & Science Development Committee and Infinite Health (C.A.M.).
